Welcome to the website for Bengt and Eivor

We started the development of this website in November 2011 under an other webaddress. This version was first published in the beginning of year 2016.

Who are Bengt and Eivor?

Bengt Johansson grew up in Småland and Eivor, born Berglund, in Stocksund, both places in Sweden. We are both born in 1943.

Bengt comes from the area Ljuder in Småland and moved to Stockholm in 1961. Started to work in banking and remained so until his retirement in 2002.

Eivor grew up in Stocksund, suburb north of Stockholm. Worked in both private and municipal services. Retired in 2001.

We got married in 1964 and 1975 we received our adopted daughter from Chile. In 1997 we were honored with our grandchild.

We lived during all the years we worked in Järfälla, north west of Stockholm. In 2004 we moved to Sigtuna and like it very well here. As we are retired we can devote ourselves to travel a lot to see and explore different cultures.

We have spent a lot of time in a weekend home in Ekolsund, which we bought in 1968. During the winter of year 2016-17 we decided to sell the house while we could do it ourselfs. On the 3rd of July 2017 we left the house keys to the buyer. We had owned the property for almost 50 years and have enjoyed a lot of all the tranquility and surroundings there. But everything has its end!
