The role of the church from the cradle to the grave

The church's role historically in Sweden has been very strong!

In a link called "The role of the Church" (created as a doc file) we have compiled under which contexts the church has been part of every citizen's everyday life.

Many who emigrated in the latter part of the 19th century and later brought these conditions with them and lived according to them in the new country as well, passing the tradition on to future generations.

Others emigrated i.a. because it was difficult for them to accept the role of the church in their daily lives.
